If within 14 days of delivery you are not satisfied, you can get:

  • An identical replacement (if in stock), or
  • A full refund of the product cost (delivery charges excluded), as long as the item hasn’t been used.

How to Return:

  • Contact us within 14 days at info@modernodirect.co.uk before sending anything back.
  • Return the item in a condition suitable for resale.

Important:

  • We do not refund postage costs unless the item is faulty or sent incorrectly.
  • All returns are checked individually. Refunds will not be given for self-damage.
  • If your product is faulty, contact us immediately with photos if possible.

Safe Returns:

  • Use recorded delivery with a signature for your protection.
  • You can also use our courier service; we cover the return cost only for faulty or damaged items.
  • Returns for change of mind or personal preference are not covered.

1. Returns & Exchanges

If you need to return or exchange a product:

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging.
  • The problem must be reported within 5 days of delivery.
  • The item must be purchased directly from ModernoDirect.co.uk.

3. Exchanges

To exchange an item:

  1. Place a new order for the item you want.
  2. Contact us to arrange the return of the original item (if eligible).

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We will notify you of the outcome.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 3–5 working days.
  • Refunds are returned to your original payment method.
  • If your refund doesn’t appear, check with your bank or card provider first.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering mistakes
  • Personal preferences (colour, size, style)
